We all enjoy sweets so we need to look after our teeth so we can continue to enjoy them for many years to come. So take a few minutes each day to look after them and they’ll last you a lifetime. Have a gander at the following advice on looking after your teeth that as sweet fans we have been following since childhood that allows us to keep tasting new and exciting sweets.
- Brush teeth twice a day.
- Use a small pea size amount of fluoride toothpaste, this will help strengthen teeth against decay.
- Make tooth brushing part of your morning and bedtime routine.
- Toothbrushes must be replaced when the bristles become worn, or at least every three months.
- Always buy a toothbrush with a small head, it will reach all corners of the mouth.
- Do not share toothbrushes
- Don’t be afraid to visit your local dentist. They are lovely people whatever stories people might tell. A regular checkup is the best way to catch any problems early and get the right treatment.
- Some children need their teeth checked more often. Regular visits to the dentist for check-ups and advice are important for children. Your child will get to know the dentist and will get used to going.
